Our Auckland City tour runs every morning (except Christmas Day!). This small group tour is intended to show the best parts of Auckland city. Your knowledgeable guide will help you understand the history and the geology of Auckland. We will show you how Aucklanders live work and play and can answer any questions you might have about what else to do around this amazing city. This page shows some of the highlights of this morning city tour.
The view back to Auckland City centre and the Sky Tower from Mount Victoria in Devonport is one of the highlights of our Auckland City tour. You also get views out into the harbour from here.
Westhaven Marina is the largest marina in the Southern hemisphere, holding over 2,000 boats. A great photo stop and shows why Auckland city is called ‘The city of sails’.
The Winter Gardens in the Auckland Domain was opened in 1913 and includes a huge variety of plants and flowers in the tropical and subtropical glasshouses.
If you also have a spare afternoon then we have some options for you to add after your morning city tour:
If you are interested in nature then you can join our afternoon eco tour which includes the black sand beaches of Piha and the subtropical rainforests of the Waitakere Ranges. Our Best of both Worlds day tour includes the Auckland City Tour in the morning and the eco tour in the afternoon.
If you would like to try wines from some of the heritage winemakers in Auckland then you can join our afternoon wine tour after your Auckland City Tour and also enjoy a wonderful vineyard lunch. We call this tour a Taste of Auckland
