Our business is to showcase the extraordinary beauty and unique flora and fauna of the relatively undiscovered parts of the Auckland region and by excellence of interpretation to promote conservation. Each tour is designed to give the visitor an intimate and interactive experience of the region’s beauty without impacting on the environment or wildlife.

For 28 years we have been looking after the environment and protecting it for future generations. Environmental responsibility is a way of life for us. Recycling, picking up rubbish, reusing anything possible and restricting our fossil fuel usage are not things to trumpet about but merely the way a good business should operate.

INTERPRETATION - We provide opportunities to experience nature in ways that lead to greater understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the environment. All of our guides have a passion for the environment, want to care for it, learn more about it and share it with others.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY PRACTICE - We represent best practice for environmentally sustainable tourism by minimising our impact on the environment.

CONTRIBUTION TO CONSERVATION - We contribute directly to the conservation of natural areas by sponsoring Ark In The Park - to help eradicate pests in the rainforest. We also sponsor noxious weed bins in the community to prevent their regeneration and spread.

BENEFITTING LOCAL COMMUNITIES - We benefit local communities by sponsoring local initiatives such as the Karekare Beach Races – that support the local school and surf club. We donate prizes to local schools and fundraising to support the community.

CULTURAL RESPECT - We are sensitive to, interpret and involve the cultures existing in the area.
